If you are writing nonfiction and you need sources, you can't write your book anywhere. You need your sources at hand. Writing a novel, on the contrary, can be done anywhere, but on one condition: It should be where nothing can distract you. If you check your account(s) on social media every now and then, if you watch videos just for pleasure, then you mustn't have internet connection with you. Internet is the biggest distracter.

 When writing using paper and pen, I felt drowsy and so I ran away to the library where one couldn't a place to sleep. Then when I used laptops, I kept going there although the call of sleep when using laptops is weaker. When using cell phone and IPad, I enjoyed writing in cafes. There are cafes like those in the West, but I preferred and still prefer traditional cafes. I wrote and translated many chapters of my novels in those cafes. Some of them were only wheelbarrows. I sat on a bench of the street shoulder writing and drinking tea.

 Therefore, see what place suits you: home, a park, a cafe, a resort... Any place you feel mentally comfortable and nothing would distract you.
