A Murder in the Cretaceous Period Fadhil Qaradaghi (The Masters of the Earth) The City is a Monster Rasti, a theater director with psychological problems and illusions; humorous, though, hates the city for its falsities and crowdedness and its fake people. One day, a rich man, impressed by a detective play Rasti directed, asks him to investigate who murdered his son and kidnapped his daughter. Rasti starts the task, without a plan, as always. He has to escape twice, the second time to his imaginary world; The Silver Land, where he is known as Tatanka Igluha (The Free Buffalo). Tatanka does the dinosaurs a great favor, but he also harms them, and he sees how the city defeated him once more, now in his beloved world. He goes back to his original world, deciding to play the game of force and deceit like the others, and not to let the city defeat him this time. But which one will prevail; his new character or his natural one? Amazon: Barnes & Noble: Amazon price is $9.9. For readers in Kurdistan, ordering the book will cost you at leas $16. A more cheap print will be available in Kurdistan soon (for only 4 or 5 Iraqi Dinars). 28-02-2017 www.zagros.org/english-books-2017-02-28-203212 16810 views |
